Police in Barnegat Township seek the public's help finding an 82-year-old resident. Leslie Shaffer went missing on Tuesday, Oct. 18. He is 6'1" tall, weighs 162 pounds and was possibly wearing a gray sweatsuit, police said. Shaffer was last seen at approximately 4:15 p.m. and may be in the area of Cloverdale Park or Nautilus Drive, according to police. Jarian Adams, 40, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine in an amount greater than one-half ounce with intent to distribute, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
