Weekend Fire Torches North Plainfield Building A fire broke out Saturday at a North Plainfield business. The blaze broke out around 2:20 p.m. at a 2-story building, located at 75 Watchung Avenue. Posted by Finderne Fire Department on Sunday, May 2, 2021 Photos from the scene shows smoke billowing from the upper level. Crews remained at the scene for nearly two hours. The cause remains under investigation.
