IN Cold Blood (Update): Trio Charged With Killing Kidnapped Newark Man Alongside Route 80
UPDATE: Three Newark men have been charged by New Jersey State Police with shooting and killing a fellow Brick City resident and leaving his body alongside Route 80.
Two of them – William Dixon, 24, and Nishir Rios-Figueroa, 30 – were already in custody in connection with other crimes, State Police said on Tuesday. They captured the third, Mustafa Manns, 28, in Newark.
The trio had abducted the victim, 27-year-old Quadree “Pee” Burch, in early August and driven him to Allamuchy Township, 20 or so miles from the Pennsylvania state line, the NJSP said in a March 14 release.

Two accused Hunterdon County narcotics dealers were slapped with drug and weapons charges after a two-month investigation led to the discovery of nine firearms and thousands in meth, LSD, and other drugs, state police said.
Bradley Walsh, 50, and Kathleen Grabowski, 47, of Union Township, were identified as suspected narcotics dealers following an investigation launched in October by the Strategic Investigations Unit-North, New Jersey State Police said Wednesday.

Man Was Paid To Steal More Than $6K In Wiring From Warren County Home Depot, Prosecutor Says
An Essex County man admitted to being paid $500 to shoplift more than $6,000 worth of electrical wiring from a Warren County Home Depot store, authorities said.
Ronald McKenzie, of Quaback Avenue in Irvington, is accused of shoplifting spools of electrical wiring from Home Depot in Mansfield Township during two incidents in July 2022, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release with local officials on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
The amount shoplifted totals approximately $6,200, Pfeiffer said.

A Hunterdon County man was charged with assault by auto and several other serious offenses after hitting a 24-year-old woman with his car, authorities said.
Kevin Stephenson, 62, was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, assault by auto, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and other offenses, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said in a release on Monday, July 11.
