Lear Jet In Trouble Over Teterboro Lands Safely In NY TETERBORO, N.J. – A Lear jet headed to Teterboro diverted safely late Thursday morning to Stewart Airport in Orange County, NY, after a problem with the nose landing gear, authorities said. The troubled jet landed before noon at the public/military airport in the southern Hudson Valley town of New Windsor, nearly 57 miles north of Teterboro, the Port Authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.
