NJ Students' Spring Break Plans Fouled By Airline Cancellations: Reports
Foul weather in Florida was blamed for wrecking spring break travel plans for many New Jersey high school students, as originally reported by NJ Advance Media. FlightAware, a website that tracks flights, noted major disruptions at several Florida airports, including in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando, as well as in Baltimore and New York, among others. West Point Cadets ID'd As Six Spring Breakers Who Overdosed, Report Says
Six cadets from the US Military Academy at West Point have been identified as the college students on spring break in Florida who overdosed on fentanyl-laced cocaine, according to a new report. Two of the Cadets are in critical condition, NBC Miami reported late Friday afternoon, March 11. The spring breakers were found inside a vacation rental home in Florida after using cocaine that was laced with fentanyl, leaving one in critical condition in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said. COVID: Bergen County High School Goes Remote After 24 Students Test Positive
A Bergen County high school has switched to online learning after 24 students tested positive for COVID-19 this week. Fourteen students had tested positive since returning from spring break, and another 10 tested positive Tuesday, Glen Rock Superintendent Brett Charleston said in a letter.
