Actors To Play Nazis, Jewish Mothers Needed For Documentary Filming In NJ
Several roles are being cast for a Holocaust documentary filming in Phillipsburg later this month.
"Righteous" is seeking actors for non-speaking roles in re-enactment scenes for the hour-long doc, produced by Austin Kase and filming in Phillipsburg Tuesday, Nov. 28 and Wednesday, Nov. 29.
The documentary is casting a wide variety of roles, including Jewish mothers, Nazi officers and soldiers, a three-member Jewish family, an old Polish professor, and several others, according to its BackStage.com listing.

Star Of HBO's 'Telemarketers' Pat Pespas Found Safe After Missing For Month Across NJ, PA
Patrick J. Pespas, who starred in HBO's "Telemarketers," has been found safe.
Pespas, 55, of Phillipsburg, has been found safe and was home with his wife, Sue, directors Sam Lipman-Stern and Adam Bhala Lough said on Pespas' Instagram account Friday, Oct. 27.
Pespas had been missing since Sept. 29, when he was seen in Easton, PA, and later at a bar in the Pittsburg area.
Pespas, formerly of North Plainfield and Plainfield, NJ, has been living with his wife in Easton, PA.

Guilty: Man Admits Yearslong Sexual Abuse Of Girl, 6, At His Phillipsburg Home, Prosecutor Says
A 45-year-old man pleaded guilty to the yearslong sexual assault of a six-year-old girl at his Phillipsburg home on Tuesday, Oct. 4, authorities announced.
Lawrence E. Kolmer, of Summit Avenue in Phillipsburg, pleaded guilty to sexual assault and child endangerment, both second-degree offenses, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a joint release.
Kolmer sexually abused the victim, a child whom he knew, numerous times between 2018 and 2021, starting when she was six years old until the age of eight, Pfeiffer said.

Eighteen people were arrested and charged as part of a several-month investigation into the distribution of meth, heroin, cocaine, and suboxone in Hunterdon County, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 19.

Born in Phillipsburg, Jennifer graduated from Belvidere High School in 2003 before attending Empire Beauty Academy, her obituary says.

A 63-year-old man from Warren County is facing numerous charges after investigators caught him meeting up for sex with an undercover cop he thought was a 14-year-old girl, authorities said.
Paul Tedeschi, of Lee Avenue in Alpha, was charged with second-degree attempted luring, second-degree sexual assault, attempted child endangerment, and promoting prostitution, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release on Friday, Sept. 2.
