Food Bazaar is now open at the Carlstadt Commons on Paterson Avenue in Carlstadt. The Carlstadt Stop & Shop was one of 32 underperforming stores in New Jersey set to close by year's end. Bed Bath & Beyond Closures Include 36 NJ Locations Three dozen Bed Bath & Beyond stores in New Jersey are among 87 locations scheduled to close in 2023, the struggling retailer announced. That brings the total number of Bed Bath & Beyond locations scheduled to close to at least 162 announced since September 2022. A spokesperson told Axios that the latest round of closures will include all of the company's Harmon beauty shops, as well as five Buy Buy Baby locations. Alerted by security at the Stop & Shop on Paterson Avenue, Officers John Sanzari and Kyle Torres spotted Jayshawn Brayboy, 19, of Queens and a Brooklyn 16-year-old pushing a cart that held a black plastic trash bag filled with the stolen merchandise last Wednesday, Police Chief Thomas Berta said.
