Lifeguards won't be the only ones patrolling Ocean City beaches this summer, as falcons will be on the prowl up in the sky. Ocean City will continue using falcons to prevent seagulls from becoming a nuisance along the oceanfront. Those under 18 years old will need adult supervision after midnight in one New Jersey beach town. A 43-year-old construction worker from Philadelphia has been identified as the victim crushed to death by a balcony that collapsed at a Sea Isle City high-rise Friday, Feb. 24, authorities said. Young Pilot Killed In Cape May Plane Crash
A 22-year-old pilot was killed in a Cape May County plane crash early Saturday, July 16, authorities said. Thomas Gibson was the sole occupant of the single-engine Piper PA-12 that crashed into a field near Paramount Air Airport around 9:40 a.m., the FAA and Middle Township police said. The Ocean City resident was pronounced dead at the scene. According to his social media pages, Gibson graduated from Marywood University in Scranton, PA, and had been working for Gibson Electrical & General Contractors. The crash was under investigation.

A former Pennsylvania pastor admitted to stealing over $30,000 in parish funds, which he spent on a beach house on the New Jersey shore, and men with whom he had sexual relationships, authorities said. 21-Year-Old PA Woman Struck, Killed By Car At Jersey Shore
A 21-year-old Pennsylvania woman died after being struck by a car at the Jersey Shore last week, authorities announced. Katherine Lux, of New Hope, was struck at 26th Street and West Avenue in Ocean City around 8:45 p.m. last Wednesday, the Cape May Prosecutor's Office said. She was rushed to Shore Medical Center and transferred to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, where she died Friday, authorities said. No charges had been filed against the 44-year-old Egg Harbor Township driver. The investigation remains ongoing.

18-Year-Old Pilot Makes Emergency Landing On Jersey Shore Bridge
An 18-year-old pilot made an emergency landing in a banner plane on the Jersey Shore Monday afternoon. Paramount Air Service pilot Landon Lucas reported engine failure while flying near Steel Pier in Atlantic City, Ocean City spokesman Doug Bergen said.
