Port Authority: DWI Tractor-Trailer Driver In GWB Crash Was 3x Legal Limit
FORT LEE, N.J. -- A drunken tractor-trailer driver whose rig crashed into a sedan at a George Washington Bridge bus slip registered more than three times the legal limit on a blood-alcohol test, authorities said. Port Authority police found Nurkhanov Bakhtiyor, 40, of Brooklyn slumped over the wheel of his truck, smelling of alcohol, after the 6:30 p.m. crash Wednesday on the westbound slip coming off the bridge, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.
