Prosecutor: Quartet ID'd In 30-Pound Pot Shipment Found With Stolen Gun In North Arlington A trio of New Jersey residents and a Virginia man plotting the sale of 30 pounds of pot were caught with a stolen gun during a traffic stop in North Arlington, authorities said. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said members of his Narcotic Task Force were investigating a drug conspiracy when a consented search during Tuesday’s stop turned up a .45-caliber 1011 Paraordnance handgun. Fort Lee PD Bust Crew Of 7 From Virginia With Stolen Cars, Guns Near GWB Fort Lee police seized three 18-year-olds and four juveniles from Virginia who they said they found with two stolen cars at a local motel near the George Washington Bridge. Officers Carlos Cabrera and Police Officer Nicholas Cima were checking the Skyview Motel parking lot off Bergen Boulevard around 6:30 a.m. Saturday when they found the crew in a 2017 Blue Ford Fusion and a 2008 Silver Subaru Forrester, both with Virginia license plates, Lt. Cause Of Death Released For Hackensack MMA Fighter Juvaunne Gordon, 26 Authorities have released the cause of death for Juvaunne Gordon, a 26-year-old MMA fighter from Hackensack. On April 20 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Gordon was ejected from his 2006 Nissan Altima after crashing the vehicle and striking a power box, Newport News, Virginia police said. Gordon was declared dead at the scene, according to police. A preliminary investigation revealed that speed was a factor in the accident, authorities said.  More than $480 had been raised as of Monday evening on a GoFundMe for Gordon, who family and friends remembered as generous and caring.
