Authorities ID Bodies Pulled From Hudson River As Edison Man, 23, NYC Woman, 22 Details surrounding the discovery of bodies floating in the Hudson River in Jersey City on July Fourth remain unclear, although authorities have identified the victims. Authorities responded to the Hudson River near the end of Morris Canal Park on reports of a female floating in the water around 7:30 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.  The body was identified as a 22-year-old New York City woman, whose name was not released.
