An IT worker who died playing cricket in Jersey City leaves behind his pregnant wife and 7-year-old daughter, both in India. Twice-Deported Immigrant Accused Of Strangling Jersey City Nanny Indicted
The 33-year-old Jersey City man arrested in March for allegedly killing a woman while she was jogging in a city park was indicted Wednesday, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said. Jorge Rios -- who was deported from the U.S. in 2003 and then again a year later -- has been charged with murder, felony murder, aggravated sexual assault and kidnapping. Arrest Made In Sex-Assault Murder Of Nanny Pulled From Jersey City Lake
A Jersey City man was charged with kidnapping, raping and killing a local nanny. Jorge Rios, 33, was arrested after the body of 45-year-old nanny Caroline Cano was pulled from a lake in Lincoln Park, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office announced Sunday morning. He's charged with murder, felony murder, kidnapping, and aggravated sexual assault, they said. Cano apparently was jogging near her home last Sunday when she was killed.
