A teenage driver was cited for reckless driving in a rollover crash on Route 17 that sent both occupants to the hospital Thursday night, Sept. 19, authorities said. Reports of a rollover with ejections brought firefighters and police officers to the northbound lanes of Route 17, just north of Franklin Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights, around 8 p.m., Hasbrouck Heights Police Lt. Saddle River police were called to the $2.7 million home on Fox Hedge Road off East Allendale Road at 4:26 p.m. Monday, July 31. Hackensack Pedestrian, 59, Struck By Car Was Outside Crosswalk: Police
A 59-year-old woman was crossing the street outside of the crosswalk when she was struck by a car leaving her in critical condition in Hackensack on Tuesday, Nov. 1, police said. The woman was near 39 Hudson St. around 6:15 p.m. when she was hit by a 2012 Lexus driven by a 63-year-old man, who stayed at the scene, Hackensack Police Capt. Michael Antista said. The woman was transported to HUMC in critical but stable condition.

A 71-year-old Rockland bicyclist was hospitalized after a nasty fall at the state border in Old Tappan, authorities said. A two-vehicle morning rush-hour collision at a busy Hackensack intersection sent two people to the hospital, responders said. Both were taken to nearby Hackensack University Medical Center following the crash outside the Prospect Ridge Apartments at Prospect and Central avenues shortly after 6:30 a.m. Friday, April 22. The extent of their injuries couldn't be immediately determined. City firefighters, police and an HUMC ambulance responded. Police were investigating the cause.

Severely Injured Victim At Park Ridge Park Airlifted To Hospital
The quick response of Park Ridge police helped save the life of a woman who was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries Thursday night, those with knowledge of the incident said. TriBoro Ambulance responded to the call at Atkins Glen Park just after 6:30 p.m. AirMed One landed at West Ridge School and brought the 40-something victim to Hackensack University Medical Center with severe cuts on both arms, responders said. Three NJ Transit passengers were transported to the hospital after a the bus they were on struck a light pole in Hackensack Monday morning. The bus driver was attempting to make a U-turn outside of Sears on Main Street when the bus hit a pole, just after 6:30 a.m., fire officials said.
