Hoboken Doctor, Roommate Busted With $15K Worth Of Drugs In Undercover Sting: Prosecutor
A doctor and her roommate have been accused of drug distribution after one sold 150 grams of cocaine to an undercover officer, and $15,000 in drugs were found in their home, authorities in Hudson County said. A raid of 38-year-old Elizabeth Johnson and 31-year-old Serge Corporan's Hoboken apartment turned up 17 grams of cocaine, more than 60 ecstasy pills and drug paraphernalia, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. 25-Year-Old Victim Sexually Assaulted On New Year's In Hoboken: Prosecutor
A 25-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a male inside of a home in Hoboken on New Year's, authorities said. Hoboken University Medical Center notified the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office's Special Victim's Unit of the assault, Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The woman met the male sometime before New Year's Eve, and he sexually assaulted her around 4 a.m. in a house, Suarez said. No arrests have been made at this time. A Lyndhurst man was arrested Sunday morning on multiple charges after he jumped into an ambulance at a Hudson County hospital and tried to drive off, according to a published report. Sathya Priya Senthil began experiencing contractions around 6:30 a.m., the New York Post reports.
