A 71-year-old woman from Hackettstown was hospitalized after getting exposed to high levels of carbon monoxide, authorities said. On Sunday, Dec. 3, at approximately 6:20 p.m., the Hackettstown police responded to a residence on the 100 block of Willow Grove Street for a welfare check. The woman told police she was not feeling well. The Hackettstown Fire Department was requested to check for possible readings of carbon monoxide. UPDATE: The driver involved in the crash has been charged with DWI, Hackettstown Police said. Aleksandr Rabinovich, 32, allegedly crashed into the building after he swerved to avoid a deer while traveling east on Route 57 around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11. He subsequently refused to submit to a breath test and was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to breath test, and reckless driving, Hackettstown Police said. A fiery Warren County home explosion caused one person to suffer a burn to the head and brought more than a dozen emergency crews to the scene. The Mansfield Township Fire Company responded to a home on Willever Lake Road off Jackson Valley Road and confirmed the fully-involved blaze around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 25, the department said. One person was hospitalized and a cat was treated for smoke inhalation Wednesday night following a massive house fire in Warren County, authorities said. The two-alarm fire broke out at a home on Chaucer Drive in Independence Township shortly after 8:10 p.m., initial reports said.
