East Rutherford's John D. Zoidis, M.D., Loved The Beatles And The Beach John D. Zoidis, M.D., 63, of East Rutherford passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on March 29. John was born in Bronx, NY to John and Margaret (Barbato) and raised in Pelham Manor, NY. After graduating Pelham Memorial High School, John attended Fairfield University and St. George’s University School of Medicine (in Grenada). Updated: Coronavirus Concerns Cancel Classes Across NJ Several schools and universities have cancelled classes in an effort to plan ahead and prevent the spread of coronavirus in New Jersey (scroll for complete list). As of Thursday, there were 29 presumed positive cases in New Jersey, including a 16- and- 17-year-old. UPDATE: All Bergen County schools will close indefinitely as of 3 p.m. Friday, Bergen County Jim Tedesco announced Thursday evening.
