Woman Left Elderly Disabled Person In Sun Causing Heatstroke: AG
A 28-year-old woman from Union County has been indicted for allegedly neglecting an elderly disabled person in her care, authorities said. Valerie Pinchinat, of Linden, was indicted for third-degree neglect of an elderly or disabled person., they said. The indictment was returned by a grand jury on Wednesday, May 11, according to Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin. The victim purportedly suffered heatstroke and second-degree burns as a result of the defendant’s alleged neglect, Plotkin said. A Jersey City woman whose two sons and mother were found last year in a feces- and flea-infested home deliberately sneezed on another customer during an argument at the local Target, authorities said Wednesday. Detectives who investigated the COVID-related incident at the 14th Street store last week signed complaints against Bernadette Bisogno, 49, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said. Cliffside Park PD: Crack User Charged With Neglecting Elderly Mom
CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Police checking on an elderly Cliffside Park woman arrested her crack-smoking son and friend after they found her disoriented and needing medical attention, authorities said. Family members concerned for the Palisade Avenue woman's welfare called police, Lt. Vincent Capano. "She answered the door and seemed disoriented," Capano said.
