A Warren County man was drunk and speeding when he slammed his pickup truck into the upstairs bedroom of a local home, killing one and critically injuring another, authorities said Friday.
John Nunn, of Mountain View Road in Washington, was charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter, death by auto, aggravated assault, and other related offenses, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said.

A Mahwah motorist was charged with DWI after she crashed her sedan in Franklin Lakes, authorities said.
The 2014 Honda Accord driven by Dayanara Nino, 45, hit a curb, left the roadway and slammed into a guy wire on Pulis Avenue near the entrance to the Shadow Ridge Riding Center shortly after 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, Capt. Mark McCombs said.
Nino was arrested and charged with DWI, refusing to take a breath test, reckless driving and failing to report a crash, among other offenses, McCombs said.

Hawthorne police checking out a car parked smack-dab in the middle of a street found its driver drunk and carrying a gun, authorities said.
The Maserati had been stopped in the middle of 4th Avenue so long that it was covered in snow when officers approached it, Detective Capt. Robert King said.
The driver, Terrel Stephen, 22, of Hawthorne smelled of alcohol, so he was removed from the vehicle, King said.

A driver from Englewood was drunk when his Jeep barreled into the dining room of a Teaneck home, authorities said.
Officers were responding to a call of an erratic driver at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, when several more calls came in of a crash on Commonwealth Drive, a block up from Teaneck Road, Capt. Michael Ferrante said.
There they found David Pharr, 32, in the Cherokee, Ferrante said.
