Meet Meghan Trainor In Bergen County
Usually Meghan Trainor is all about that bass. This week, she's going to be all about Bergen County. The singer is signing copies of her album "Timeless" at the Barnes and Noble in Paramus at 634 N State Route 17 on Friday, June 7 at 3 p.m. This is the sixth album for the "All About That Bass" singer. "Timeless" features the hit single, "Been Like This," a collaboration with the rapper T-Pain. Attendees can get either their CD or vinyl edition signed and a photo with Trainor. Bob Odenkirk is keeping his new poetry book all in the family. The "Better Call Saul" star is the author of "Zilot & And Other Important Rhymes", a book of poems he wrote with his two children when they were younger. His daughter, Erin Odenkirk, a graduate of Pratt Institute, did the illustrations for the book. Hackensack Detectives Derail Bronx Trio's Counterfeit-Fueled Shopping Spree
A Bronx trio went on a spending spree with counterfeit $100 bills before Hackensack police detectives nabbed them, authorities said Wednesday. The investigators stopped their 2002 Honda Accord on Essex Street near Prospect Avenue for a traffic violation and quickly learned that the driver, 19-year-old Jazlyn Rodriguez, didn't have a license, Capt. Peter Busciglio said. As they ordered her out of the car, the detectives noticed the rear-seat passenger -- identified as Bryan Day, 23 -- trying to conceal something under his feet, Busciglio said.
