Secaucus Walmart Carjackers Nabbed In Newark: Police Two men who robbed and carjacked a woman at knifepoint in the Secaucus Walmart parking lot were arrested in two separate stolen cars in Newark, authorities said. Xavier Cenpin and Caliente Gaillard, both 19, of Newark, robbed and carjacked the 66-year-old woman at the Park Plaza Drive Walmart around 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.  The victim was uninjured, but the suspects stole cash and her 2016 BMW M23 convertible, police said. Carjackers Who Led Wild Route 78 Pursuit Had Heroin, Firearms, Three Magazines: Police More than a dozen decks of heroin, firearms and several magazines were seized following an armed carjacking and wild Route 78 pursuit, leading to the arrest of four Newark males including two teens Thursday, July 7, authorities said. Seen IT? Newark PD Seeks Carjacked Cadillac Authorities in Newark are on the lookout for a silver SUV they say was targeted in an armed carjacking Monday afternoon. A man exiting a 2004 Cadillac Escalade was approached by an armed man who demanded money near the 300 block of Hawthorne Avenue around 11:45 a.m., Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. The armed man then sped off in the victim’s vehicle, heading west on Hawthorne Avenue, Ambrose said. Anyone with information about the stolen vehicle is asked to contact the Newark Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
