"It is really a credit to our hard-working kids that do anything they're asked to do," Bulldog's head coach Steven Dunn told Daily Voice. "We probably had eight or nine kids swim the best races of their lives Saturday and you could tell they were all ready to go."
Among the noteworthy efforts from the Bulldogs were those of sophomores Alec Reimon, Chris Lee and Edel Barcenas, as well as senior Andrew Yi. The four combined to win both the the 200-yard individual medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Overall, Rutherford beat both Harrison and Lyndhurst/North Arlington.
Dunn, who has coached the team for three years, said his team will only get better next season.
"I see us continually getting better," he said. "Judging by their attitude and demeanor and the way they approach practice, I would expect nothing less."
