In order to understand the components of each ecosystem, the students first studied the structure: community, population and habitat. Each ecosystem shows a community, population and habitat.

The projects were completed collaboratively. It was a hands-on, cross-curricular extravaganza.

McKenzie students wrote informative essays, including main ideas, body paragraphs, transition words and closing statements. They also used research skills from various sources and paraphrased our findings.

All students enjoyed the convenience of typing reports using laptops.
