Megan Donahue (96); Shyam Patel (98); Dylan Burkhalter (98); and freshman Madison Fahmy (96) are in Judith Leonard's Fundamentals of Business class.
Three other classmates scored over 90.
Fundamentals of Business is a full-year elective that fulfills students' financial literacy requirement.
"I teach them about credit, debit, financial planning, savings, money management, financial goals, compound interests, and borrowing," said Leonard, a former businesswoman with an accounting background. “I love teaching this. It's so real. You’re talking about real world things.
“It’s a useful tool.”
Leonard, a 19-year veteran who also teaches accounting at RHS, gave her students pre- and post- tests on the subjects.
“I get a lot out exposing students to this," she said.
