Parents were alerted to the potential switch after receiving a letter from the YMCA asking for support in staying on as the provider, reports northjersey.com.

The board was approached by Family Balance Concepts, Inc. of East Rutherford, and will consider its proposal as well as the Meadowlands YMCA for the 2016-17 school year, according to northjersey.com.

Family Balance Concepts is owned by Melissa Irwin-Imbriano, a recent Meadowlands YMCA employee, according to northjersey.com.
