The borough would pay up to $10,000 a month for use of the pool, but critics, including Mayor James Cassella said the price is too high, NorthJersey.com reported.

The discussion came about following a letter from Interim Superintendent Joseph Abate who made it a primary goal upon his arrival two years ago to get the pool at the Faust School fully operational again, NorthJersey.com said.
