The bags, which will be made available during inclement weather, ought to be sturdy, sealable and gallon-sized and should contain three to five items that can be played with inside and easily stored afterward, officials said.
Each child should have his/her name and class printed on the bag in Sharpie marker. Bags will be sent home one day at the end of the month to swap new toys for the old.
District-approved toys include coloring books, crayons, drawing paper, travel-sized board game, Mad Libs and small plastic figures.
