The program is a partnership between the New York Jets and the New Jersey Department of Agriculture. The program encourages kids to be more active and schools to be more creative with school menus.
As the "Grand Champion" winning school, Carlstadt will receive a $15,000 grant, to use for cafeteria improvements and physical education equipment.
The program on Friday will include a visit by Jets kicker Nick Folk -- so students are to wear Jets colors, green and white -- as well as New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Douglas Fisher and other officials.
