Both are retiring at the end of the academic year.
"I feel nostalgic because I have taught for 32 years but very happy to be transitioning into a new career," Hopper said, as reported by the Cat's Eye View. She has published several books and short stories over the last several years.
Tripodi looks forward to additional time with her family and travel time. "I'm ready for a change, and I'm ready to find a new direction and a new focus," she said, as reported by the Cat's Eye View.
