Two OD At East Rutherford Motel, Companion Charged With Stun Gun

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- East Rutherford police using Narcan revived two drug users who overdosed at the same time at a Route 3 motel Monday night. They also arrested a companion.

Officers called to the Extended Stay found both victims -- ages 26 and 29 -- unconscious, Police Chief Lawrence Minda told Daily Voice.

After officers revived them, an ambulance crew took the pair to Hackensack University Medical Center, the chief said.

Police recovered drugs in the room and arrested 23-year-old Anna Lee Robles Monzon of Puerto Rico after finding her carrying a stun gun Minda said.
