Tractor falls into Carlstadt sinkhole

ONLY ON CVP: A local tower lifted a tractor safely from a sink hole in Carlstadt that opened this morning after a water main break.

The driver tried getting the rig through after the break on 13th Street, opening the 15-by-15 foot hole.

Nick’s Towing got the truck out without puncturing the gas tank. A hazardous materials crew cleaned up some spilled oil. United Water was working on the broken main.
