UPDATE: A 44-year-old Totowa motorcyclist was killed this morning in a crash on eastbound Route 3 near the Route 120 overpass, East Rutherford Police Chief Larry Minda said this afternoon. The cycle driven by Joseph Frederick apparently struck the guardrail at 7:23 a.m. and “there was no other vehicle involved,” Minda said after an intensive investigation.
Two lanes remained closed until 11 a.m.
Responding with East Rutherford police were the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Investigation Unit, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification and New Jersey State Police.
