Police catch reported gunman near East Rutherford school, seek second

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: An East Rutherford school was put on lockdown, an arrest was made and police were searching for a second man who they said dropped a gun before fleeing.
The two men were reportedly spotted two blocks from the McKenzie School around 7 a.m.

Police were called and the school was put on lockdown.

After making one arrest immediately, East Rutherford police chased a second bandit through several backyards toward Wallington, with assistance from Carlstadt police, a source with knowledge of the incident told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
