Thomas J. Caci, 51, sent “vulgar and offensive material” to three family members and both the Paramus and Rutherford police beginning in September 2014, Rutherford Capt. Patrick Feliciano said this afternoon.

Caci posted $2,500 bail and was released after being arrested on cyberstalking and stalking charges yesterday by investigators from both departments and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the captain said.

Detectives began investigating “repeated alarming letters and phone calls via the use of electronic devices” last September, he said.
