YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 73-year-old North Bergen man was freed on $50,000 cash bail after being arrested on charges of molesting a 7-year-old Rutherford girl.

Edward Narucki, of 72nd Street, is charged with sexual assault and child endangerment.

Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit and Rutherford police arrested Narucki on Christmas Eve after receiving a report from the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency, Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this morning.

Narucki, who is married, has a Jan. 8 appearance scheduled in Rutherford Municipal Court.
