Residents can use the site to put vehicles on the Overnight Parking list, download and print forms, find upcoming events and learn a brief history and understanding of the police department.
The Borough of Carlstadt was founded in June of 1894. Charles Schmidt was the first police chief appointed by the borough in 1907.
The department is led by Chief Thomas Nielsen.
In addition to the patrol unit, officers are part of: New Jersey Rapid Deployment Force, the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team, the Bergen County Rapid Deployment Team and the Bergen County Computer Crimes Unit.
