Man falls under train and survives

A 32-year-old Manhattan man reportedly fell onto the tracks at a Jersey City PATH station, had a train come barreling over him, and then crawled out with barely a scratch.

The apparently intoxicated man fell off the platform and rolled into the center of the tracks Saturday night, Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman told the Jersey Journal.

A Hoboken train headed to the World Trade Center pulled in and over the man, he said.

Coleman said he was taken to Jersey City Medical Center as a precaution but was released.
