East Rutherford kitchen worker charged with touching girl, 12

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: An East Rutherford kitchen worker from Elmwood Park is being held on $100,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with inappropriately touching a 12-year-old girl.

Michael Macaluso was arrested by East Rutherford police and detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit after the girl reported the alleged sexual conduct to school personnel.

Macaluso, 47, who is single, is charged with sexual contact and child endangerment.

He’s scheduled for an initial Municipal Court appearance next Wednesday.
