Both went to the internist’s Paterson Avenue office on July 14, purportedly to obtain a prescription from him, Police Chief Larry Minda said.
Once inside, 49-year-old Carol Winstead pulled a black, semi-automatic handgun and she and Kareem Walston, 38, of Jersey City, robbed him, the chief said.
East Rutherford detectives nabbed Winstead on Monday and Walston yesterday, he said.
Winstead was being held on $90,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and weapons possession.
Walston was being held on $75,000 in the county jail, charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and theft.
