Cops grabbing those with outstanding warrants out of WNY

WARNING: If you’ve ignored a ticket or skipped a court date in West New York, you can either turn yourself in or expect a knock at the door in the middle of the night.

A stack of 300 outstanding warrants has piled up in Municipal Court, and city police are going after those listed. Most live in West New York or North Bergen or Guttenberg.

In most cases, those being sought have simply skipped court dates on minor drug possession or other charges.
