"Coffee With A Cop" is a national initiative supported by the U.S. Justice Department’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.
It removes any barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one conversation -- "one cup at a time,” Russo said.
"The coffee and sweets are free, [and] the conversation is informal and informative," the chief said.
