NEWSBREAK: Investigators have ruled out arson in an East Rutherford warehouse fire that likely was caused by an electrical malfunction, an official with knowledge of the incident told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The warehouse at 117 Herman Street house apparently is operated by Beckmeyer Engineering.

Beckmeyer company President Glenn M. Beckmeyer could not immediately be reached for comment.

East Rutherford police confirmed that members of Bergen County Sheriff Leo McGuire’s Crime Scene Unit is collecting evidence while municipal experts check for structural damage.

No injuries have been reported, the officer said.
