Authorities said Kendrick Terrell Brown, 21, and two accomplices left the victim for dead with several stab wounds the afternoon of Aug. 6 at the Extended Stay America Hotel on Route 3, taking what sources told Daily Voice was $11,000.

The trio then fled south on the NJ Turnpike, bound for South Carolina, they said.

The victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, the prosecutor said.

Andrew J. Jefferson, 26, and Deshun Hill, 23, both single and unemployed, were arrested last week in South Carolina, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Friday.

They remained in custody there pending extradition to New Jersey on charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and robbery, he said Tuesday.

Brown, meanwhile, was charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

(Daily Voice kept news of a third suspect confidential pending his capture.)
