EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Rosina Altieri Mondo, of East Rutherford, died on Jan. 9. She was 98.
Mondo was born in Caserta, Italy and came to the US in 1967. For 13 years, she was a seamstress at Lincoln Dress Co. in Carlstadt and retired in 1980. She loved spending time with her family and reading the Bible. She was a member of the Ridgefield Italian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Anna Maria Micco, Assunta Esposito, Paul Mondo and Salvatore Mondo; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and siblings, Antonio Altieri and Paolo Altieri.
She is predeceased by her husband, Giuseppe Mondo, son Gennaro Mondo and siblings Marianna Micco, Luigi Altieri and Giuseppe Altieri.
Visitation will be on Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt. Funeral Service will be on Friday, Jan. 13, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
