RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Rose T. Murphy, a resident of Rutherford, died Saturday, Feb.13. She was 79.
Murphy retired from APA, International Division, after more then 20 years as an export manager.
She is survived by her children, Bob and his wife Debbie; Michael; Robyn and her husband Mike Gassaro; Ryan; Jim and his husband Errol DeJager; Steven and his wife Barbara, and their children, Samantha, Alyson, Kylie, Georgia; Rick and his wife Linda and their children, Chris, Nick, Taylor, Jayson; Kelly and her husband Andy Cox; Suzanna and her husband Kevin Breen, and their children Aiden Davis and Declan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald T. Murphy.
The family will receive friends at Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, on Monday, Feb. 15, from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral on Wednesday, Feb. 17, will begin 8:30 a.m. in Calhoun- Mania departing for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary.
A private cremation for immediate family will take place afterward. The family would appreciate donations to the Rutherford Food Bank.
