CARLSTADT, N.J. -- Ronald D. Blandine, a resident of Carlstadt for 54 years, died on Tuesday, April 5. He was 85.
Born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, Blandine was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a Morse code interpreter in Germany. For 40 years, he was a draftsman for Bendix in Teterboro. He retired when he was 59.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Lombardi) Blandine; children Robert Blandine, and Nancy Engman and her husband Richard; grandchildren Alexis Blandine, Riley Engman and Nate Engman; brother James Blandine; and nephews Phillip, Randy and Jimmy.
Blandine's service and cremation were private. Kimak Funeral Home, in Carlstadt, assisted with arrangements.
