CARLSTADT, N.J. -- Robert L. DeSopo, of Carlstadt, died on Sunday, Jan 22. He was 70.
DeSopo served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a program analyst at IBM in Roseland for over 15 years. Prior to that, he was a computer programmer for Prudential.
He is survived by his wife, Karen T. (Dahmen) DeSopo; children Juanita Reyes and her husband Arturo, Tiffany Ann Cozza and her husband Daniel, and Robert DeSopo and his wife Lauren; and grandchildren Xiamara, Joseph, Gino, Audrey, Matthew, Nicholas and Teresa.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., in Carlstadt. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, in North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Rutherford Bible Chapel, 161 W. Passaic Ave., Rutherford, NJ 07070.
