Born in New York, Latushko grew up in Newark where she attended Westside High School and graduated in 1945. She retired from ADP, after working there for 40 years. She was a member of the Arrow Park Social Club, Lemko Resort-NY, Rutherford PTA and Little League.
Latushko always had a passion for Russian folk dancing. She performed with the Glinka Russian Folk Dancers, where she also sang in the choir and taught the children's group. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and going to the Broadway theatre and concerts.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Latushko and his wife Annamarie, Paul Latushko and his wife Linda, Steven Latushko, Donna Muhleisen and her husband Dave; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Lauren, Greg, Katie, Rachel and Jack.
Latushko was predeceased by her husband, Fred, and her brother, Walter Warivonchik.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8:30 p.m.on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., in Rutherford. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, followed by a 12:30 a.m. prayer service by Archpriest George Konyev. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, in Lyndhurst.
