Mary Catherine Kiselick, 89, Of Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Mary Catherine Kiselick, 89, of Rutherford, died Sept. 25. 

She was born Aug. 10, 1927, in Natrona, Pa.

She was an active member of the Rutherford Women's Club, and through her husband Steve, the Guardsmen of Rutherford as well. She was an active parishioner of St. Mary RC Church in Rutherford and an active member as well of the 55 Kip Center in Rutherford. 

In addition to caring for her family, she loved to cook, bake, play bridge and travel. She also was passionate about reading and was a familiar figure at the Rutherford Public Library. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Peter Kiselick; and sons, Kenneth and David. 

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ellen White and her husband Ian; son, Stephen and his wife Laura; sister Eleanor Kalwarski; and grandchildren, Megan and James White and Hunter and Zachary Kiselick. 

There will be a funeral at 10 am. Saturday at the Macagna-Diffily-Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., Rutherford, thence to St. Mary RC Church, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford, where a funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m.. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Friends and family will be received from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
