RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Joseph W. Gallagher, a longtime resident of Rutherford, died Monday, Nov. 23. He was 72.
Gallagher worked as an attorney and also a self-employed tax consultant in Rutherford.
He was predeceased by sibling Francis Gallagher.
He is survived by wife Marilyn Bak, stepdaughter Bridget Bak, and siblings Marybeth Ursen, Gerry Platoni and Stephen Gallagher.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary.
Cremation will follow at East Ridgelawn Chapel in Clifton.
