Plump was a printer for Accurate Box Company of Paterson. He was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church of Haworth.
He was an avid bowler, golfer and fisherman, and he had a passion for Notre Dame. He loved watching his children's soccer games.
Plump is survived by his wife of 15 years, Dawn (Fojtlin); children Justin and Madalyn; parents Debra Hlavaty and her husband Charlie, and Gary Plump; and grandchildren Stacia Plump, Mickey Squillace and Louise Fojtlin.
He is also survived by his brothers, Sean Plump, and Daniel Plump and his wife Maryjo; mother- and father-in-law Rosemarie Fojtlin and her husband Thomas; sister- and brother-in-law Kimberly and John Petrillo; and nephew and niece Christopher and Morgan Plump.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., in Hackensack. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Monday at 8:45 a.m., with a 10 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Church, 102 Park St., in Haworth. Cremation will follow, at Cedar Lawn Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to his children's college fund.
